Are all your products factory-fresh?
As an authorized dealer, all of our new products come factory fresh from official suppliers unless otherwise indicated. As a special service to our customers, we check and adjust every single instrument in our workshop free of charge! Of course you also have a two year manufacturer warranty.
Can I order free of German value added tax (VAT) / sales tax?
No! If you order from within the European Union, all prices include German VAT. We are not able to change this (European customs arrangements). National orders or orders from within the EEC in our shop can only be done including VAT. There is, however, an exception for dealers and company owners whose headquarters are within the EEC and who have joined the VAT proceeding system.
Can I purchase free of VAT for my company?
If you are a dealer or company owner within the European Union, you can also purchase free of VAT for your company. Just simply send us your VAT number and your address via fax or email. We will then check the viability of the number and subtract VAT accordingly.
Do advertised prices include value added tax / sales tax (VAT)?
If you visit us from within the European Union, prices shown include German VAT. You have also the option to manually set your delivery country.
Do I have to pay import duties / additional sales tax (VAT) for my country?
No! If you order from within the European Union, you don`t have to pay any extra sales taxes or import duties for your country! If you live in a country that is part of the European Economic Community (EEC) ordering in our shop is just like ordering in a shop within your own country.
Which countries do you deliver to?
You can order from all over the world.
All shippings are fully covered by a transportation insurance! We have a lot of experience in sending instruments and amplifiers for many years. So don't worry. Even if you order a guitar without a case it will be packed well-padded into strong card-boards. Additionally all deliveries are fully covered by shipping insurance.
What are the fees for the insured shipping and handling?
Our system automatically calculates the actual shipping costs for each article. They are displayed in the product descriptions and also during the ordering process.

How long does shipping take time to my country?
We prefer the international DHL PREMIUM service for all deliveries within the EU. In transnational cooperation with your national mail-service, they deliver our products directly to your door. It's not the quickest but the most well-priced way we could find.

If upon receiving the item, you are unsatisfied with it, you can -of course- immediately send it back to us. This is part of our extended 30 days sale or return policy (money-back-guarantee). It starts right when you receive the article. As soon as we receive the returned item, we will forward the full amount of your shipping invoice to your account.
Am I liable for return shipping fees?
If you make use of the extended 30 days sale and return policy because you dislike the product, you will have to cover the returning fees yourself. In case of complaints or returns that are due to problems or misunderstandings on the side of leihinstrumente.com, we will cover the return postage during the first 30 days. Please contact us in advance. In most cases it's not possible to send the parcel free of charge, but we will credit you for the shipping cost. Please note that we can't cover the cost of express or courier services, only normal economy shipping. Please note that items must be returned in their original paper or cardboard packaging.
There is a two-year manufacturer's warranty from the day of purchase on all articles we offer. This warranty applies to faults on the manufacturer's side. If you experience problems with the article within these two years, please get in touch with us contact >>. We will then organize pickup free of charge. In case the article is beyond repair it will be replaced by an item of equal value. Please note that expendable parts such as strings, bow hair or batteries are not included in this warranty. Signs of wear are covered only if clearly due to manufacturing errors and if the item was used and cared for according to the manual we include with each product.
Are all items on stock and ready for shipping?
Product availability is always indicated on our product pages and next to the detailed information of our products. Move your mouse pointer over the corresponding icon. A small window will open and display the actual state. If your item is in stock we can usually send it right away.in stock
