The Korala bass ukulele has a stunning flamed Okume body complemented with tortoiseshell binding and an abalone soundhole rosette.The rosewood fingerboard with a scale of 52 cm has markers both on and down the side. Die-cast low ratio machine heads ensure accurate tuning and the addition of a truss rod results in a secure and stable neck.
Aquila Thundergut bass strings are standard of course!...and the latest Belcat Pick-up system,with sliders for bass and treble and a volume knob, ensure a really remarkable sound when amplified. The unit also has a built in tuner which is far more accurate than most clip- on tuners when bass frequencies are involved. The jack input at the base of the bass uke has a beveled end pin which facilitates the use of a strap......a really superb instrument!
