Joan Cashimira
This small, friendly Spanish family company can be found near Alicante. These unusually good instruments are produced here already in the third generation, under the management of Antonio, whose
common name is Jose´ Antonio Casales Mirales, and his sister Tere. The brand JOAN CASHIMIRA which is derived from Antonio's names, meanwhile sold all over the world. Together with his sister, his
nephews and if necessary up to five other employees who all master the art of making guitars, up to 1500 instruments are produced each year. The price range extends from simple beginner's guitars
for €200 up to €16000 for a master instrument. All instruments stand out with unusually high workmanship and sound quality in each price class.
During our last visit, we were allowed to photograph Antonio and Tere while working in their workshop, resulting in the following pictures!
