Electric guitars in pure orange already have a certain rarity value, yet Ibanez delivers with the Artcore AGR 63 T a very nice semi-resonance guitar in just this color. Ibanez calls the finish Twilight Orange, which together with the white bindings and the tremolo in Bigsby style creates a very unique look that suits the model.
Typically, the Ibanez has a semi-hollow body, which gives it a powerful and loud sound even dry, without an amp connected. However, it doesn't come close to the volume of a full resonance guitar, since it has a much flatter body, which is more in the direction of a normal electric guitar. Nevertheless, it is a lot of fun to play the guitar without amp.
With amplification it goes off in the direction of rock, blues, jazz, or even folk music. Here the AGR 63T feels at home and delivers a convincing result. Whereby it convinces with a balanced sound and a pleasant playability. The string action is decent, the frets are well made and the neck is very easy to play.
The condition of the guitar can be classified as very good. However, the pickguard is missing, which was apparently removed by the previous owner. Otherwise, there are only minimal signs of use. This is a good semi- hollowbody guitar for a small price. Technically, everything is also in order, so you can play it without hesitation.
